Sound Productions

Dan was nice enough as a person, but as a sound man, he and his assistant were horrible. Since he did warn me that they only had 2 monitors, I had a couple on hand, as well as extra XLR cables. When I asked for a simple line out (even from the headphone jack), they didn't understand how they could do it. If that was all that was wrong, I would give a at least 3 stars, but this is the main reason I am giving 1 star: They both vanished during the concert, which was full of feedback. It was so bad that I even called them while playing the drums. No Answer. So I waited til a break between songs and I texted Dan. No Response. After the concert, he tells me that he's sorry he couldn't do anything about the feedback.
Dan might be good for a "set it and go" type of gig, maybe for a speaking conference or something that doesn't require the sound person to be present in the room, but Not live music...definitely not lively live music.
