Serving Green Bay and the Fox Valley, Sonic M.D. is one of Northeast Wisconsin's first sound and lighting companies to offer Wireless Show Control!
Featuring the industry's most compact and flexible footprint, Sonic M.D.'s FOH setup can take up as little as one seating space, maximizing value for venues with limited space. And with no snake, and not even a power cable running to FOH, the trip hazards associated with traditional setups are a thing of the past.

Sonic M.D. can mix up to 40 inputs and supply up to 6 independently adjustable monitor mixes. Audio projection capabilities range from simple speakers on sticks to 5.1 channel surround sound. A truss system is available to safely elevate the stage lights and main speakers up to 15' high, assuring smooth coverage of even the largest venues. The InstaBooth Front-of-house setup is compact, flexible and completely wireless, opening up a world of possibilities and maximizing the use of space for attendees.
Dan started running sound in 1997 as a volunteer sound engineer at Green Bay Community church, working with a praise band and a choir with approximately 100 voices. As a member of the audio team, he also cut his Musical Theatre teeth on church-sponsored Christmas Programs such as 'A Time for Christmas' and 'It's a Wonderful Life', juggling as many as 3 consoles, 22 wireless microphones and a full pit orchestra.
In 2004, Dan was hired to run sound for a local theatre troupe and for the next two years he would mix full-length Broadway musicals such as 'The Taffetas', 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat', 'A Chorus Line', 'Beauty and the Beast', and 'The King and I'.
Although Dan has had his share of experience mixing cover bands in clubs, his approach to sound reinforcement is still shaped to a large extent by his early influences in the Theatre and House of Worship settings. The paramount importance of clarity and lyrical content were deeply instilled from day one, and his continued emphasis and mastery of these critical elements makes him a favorite among performers and event planners alike.
Sonic M.D. emphasizes reliability by sticking with trusted brands such as QSC, JBL, and Yamaha Pro Audio. Spares of critical components are onsite at every gig, ensuring that no matter what happens, the show will go on!
Digital consoles with wireless remote control are available for gigs with limited space where a bulky analog FOH setup would take up valuable seating space or where running a snake would create a trip hazard for people attending the event.
