Hi there! My name is Sophie, and I have been playing the violin for over 15 years. Throughout grade school, I gained gig experience playing my violin for nursing homes, churches, and various events. Into college, I played my violin for the Concordia Orchestra, which is a high-quality ensemble, playing professional-level orchestral pieces. In these years, I continued playing for nursing homes and churches, but also expanded to performing at weddings and at breweries/restaurants. I have experience performing with a variety of instruments and group sizes, as well as a large range of music genres. This includes classical, jazz, country, pop, alternative, romantic, and rock. I enjoy playing all types of music, with any combination of musicians, or as a solo. I look forward to continuing to spread the joy of music to others!
