Overview
Sonic Dream is described as "...fabulous...one of the Twin Cities' best" (Dakota Jazz Club), known for "hip re-tooling" of pop songs (StarTribune). The group performs a wide range of well-known songs from the standards of old to hits of today by artists as diverse as; Frank Sinatra, Elvis, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Soundgarden, Radiohead, Cindi Lauper, Amy Winehouse, Lorde and Dua Lipa. This group uses top talent and most often performs as a trio but also offers a duo format, quartet, solo guitar, or they can add additional players/vocalists as requested.

The communication was great, and the performance was even better. We had a private jazz serenade for an experienced bass player for his 86 birthday and the music selection, ambience, and personality of the players was perfect and helped us create amazing memories for a special occasion.

The trio played during dessert and cordials at our daughter’s wedding. They performed music from different eras, which was appreciated by guests of various ages. And they played at a volume that permitted both enjoyment of the music and conversations among guests – guests have reported that they loved this. The trio was great!
Booking the trio was easy. Jeff communicated at key points during planning, both to inquire about our preferences and to respond to inquiries.

Jeff and his guys did a fantastic gig at a corporate event on a Saturday evening! The booking process was smooth and Jeff was immediately responsive to communications. The group arrived on schedule as planned and played at an appropriate sound level to compliment the social conversations. The guests were all impressed with the music. What to expect
Jeff Perry Music is not your typical jazz group. While you will hear the "Standards," much of their repertoire features great pop/rock songs from popular artists over the decades. You might hear the Beatles one minute and Depeche Mode the next. David Bowie then Amy Winehouse, or hear them go from Dave Brubeck to Pink Floyd. Because of the variety of songs, and their tasteful and adventurous approach, this group is appreciated by multiple generations.
The band configuration (typically a trio but duo of solo guitar are available as well) allows them to fit almost anywhere and keep the volume perfectly conducive to conversation. Just get them close to an electrical outlet and they are set.
The group is composed of complete professionals both musically and from a business perspective. And, they love what they do which shows when working with them.
