Why book Santa Claus Productions?

I am a most realistic santa, with a real beard and a wide variety of entertaining skills

Santa showed up an hour late. When I tried contacting him I did not get an answer. Looks very real however, but was disappointed overall in his tardiness, due to how severely late he showed everyone had lost their excitement and enthusiasm.

Response from Santa Claus Productions:

It was unfortunate that when Wesley asked for me to change and change to a later time misunderstood him by an hour. Hung out at a nearby shopping center. What he said about the lost enthusiasm was certainly true of the adults who were highly engrossed with the adult partying in the Kitchen. When Wesley brought the children in they made up for the enthusiasm. I was told to make my visits with the kids short since it was late . I still was able to visit with each child, Dp my rendition of the Grinch and answered several questions posed by the children. And it was clear that they were believing.
I was curious that Wesley graded me lowest in every category. When I left he made comments that he was impressed with the way I interacted with the children and how they had reacted. His last comment was that he wanted to have me next year and make up for my mistake.
I wonder if he will indeed let me make up for it in 2014,

I was very excited to add a Santa Claus to our annual community tree lighting event. The event is held the first Saturday of each December and has become a event many in our neighborhood look forward to.

I sent Santa Ed a detailed itinerary and script the day prior to the event as well as a google map with with a pin drop with the exact location of the event. I also asked that he call me first thing in the morning to confirm our booking and talk through any last questions he may have had.

The day of the event I called at least 6 times with no response and so at 6:30pm when the program was ready to begin I started expecting him not to show. Around 6:40 he showed up ringing his bells and then proceeded to ask if he was in the right place and explain that his car was broken into and that's why he was late all into a live mic. I told him he was and that he should just do his "santa thing". He then proceeded to tell the entire story of the Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

While I can appreciate the time and effort it must take to memorize a piece like that I had told him explicitly that we would not have time for a story. Because he took so long in telling the story the middle school band who had practiced and showed up on time were not able to play two of the songs they prepared to play.

Following the ceremony Santa Ed took pictures with kids and let them sit on his lap, which was great. But while children were still around he asked for his check and then started to tell me about how his car was broken into and wallet stolen etc, etc.

Regardless of whether his story was true his behavior was incredibly unprofessional. I would never again book Santa Claus Productions nor would I recommend anyone else to either. I would not risk the lack of professionalism I saw on Saturday to be reflected on me or my organization in the future.
