We cater our performance to the event or clients wishes. We can learn any song or songs. Our performance is professional and we provide excellent service throughout the booking process and at the event.
In 1985, a young man named Adam picked up an alto saxophone and began playing one note at a time. Soon those notes became songs and the songs turned to solos. Almost 30 years later, that young (well not so young anymore) man is now leading the SMS Jazz Project with the help of his father, Stan, on keyboards. Father and son bring over 50 years of gigging experience from weddings, nightclubs, bars, colleges, festivals, bar-mitzvahs, parades, corporate events, birthdays and pretty much any event that has music.
Why chose us over another band? Good question? We have received 5 star reviews from recent clients on Wedding Wire which I can't link to in here due to not wanting to pay for extra services. So if you'd like to read them, head over to our website using the link somewhere in this promo kit and click the testimonials page. Or go to Wedding wire and search for SMS Jazz Project. Hope this doesn't get us kicked off this site. If it does, oh well, we'll still be playing jazz for as long as we can breathe.
We're also affordable and will do our best to work with your budget.
We hope to hear from you soon as your plan your event!
We provide all of our own sound equipment. All we ask for is some electricity to plug it into.
John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Maceo Parker, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Jaco Pastorius, Victor Wooten, Jeff Coffin, Sonny Rollins.
