Jazz Breeze

When you book Jazz Breeze, we will send you a contract to confirm all details. In addition to venue, date and time, we may also have to confirm attire, equipment on premises (artists have their own, but sometimes the venue has a piano on site), meal and parking inclusions (if any) and venue contact person. We will also coordinate logistical issues with you or your designated contact prior to the event. All balances are to be paid on the day of the event prior to the performance, as will be stipulated in our contract.

Jazz Breeze is the perfect choice to enhance your special event, be it a wedding, corporate function or other kind of private party. We provide an elegant backdrop to suit any function. We're flexible with our band size--you can book us as a solo pianist or sax, duo of guitar and bass or a quartet of piano, bass, saxophone and drums. Our instrumentation is flexible and varied, with our clients often choosing a combination of either piano, bass, sax, guitar or drums.

Interested in vocals? Our premiere group, The Marlene Jazz Ensemble performs a mix of vocals and instrumental jazz, Brazilian and some r&b and contemporary tunes to provide a stylish and elegant ambiance to your events. Vocalist/pianist Marlene is available from solo to larger ensemble settings. The Marlene Jazz Ensemble performs for
the Boston Wine and Food Festivals, holiday events at the Boston Harbor Hotel, Four Seasons, Harvard Club and other top venues in New England.

Our musicians are highly regarded professionals in the industry, most of whom are leaders of their own bands, each with more than 15 years of performing experience.

We will bring to life jazz standards and tunes from the American song book--classics from Miles Davis, Cole Porter and Gershwin, and Brazilian standards from Jobim and Sergio Mendes, which you and your guests will enjoy. And although jazz is our thing, our musicians are also available for classical performances for weddings, playing favorites like Pachelbel's Canon in D or Air in G Strings.
