Sláinte (slahn-chuh): Irishspeak for cheers
Sláinte is a group of friends and musicians, specializing in upbeat Irish folk music. Formed in a dorm room at Boston College, Sláinte has been entertaining crowds throughout New England since 2012, and New York/New Jersey since 2017. We play most shows as a trio, but can front a larger lineup (including drums!) when space allows.
With upbeat sets featuring a wide range of tunes from Irish classics to Dropkick Murphys covers, and everything in between, we always brings the craic!

What to Expect
- Fun, upbeat, traditional Irish music and rock & roll
- Ability to engage with the audience
- High quality, full sound system
- Professionalism and reliability
Formed at Boston College for a St. Patrick's Day party in 2013, Sláinte has evolved from a few guys putting on a show for their friends into an established, professional band, entertaining crowds across Massachusetts.
Sláinte's full lineup consists of 7 members, and features a variety of instruments including: acoustic guitar, bass guitar, fiddle, tin whistle, accordion, tenor banjo, mandolin, and harmonica. We can always adjust our lineup size based on the size and vibe of the venue.
We have plenty of experience playing both private functions and pubs, and are happy to tailor our setlist toward a specific audience.
Additional Booking Notes
We have our own sound gear, but happy to work with a house system if that's what the client wants.
