We're Slainte, an Irish folk band based out of Boston. We’re a fun, upbeat band, and bring lots of energy to our shows. Our sets feature a wide range of music, from the Irish classics to traditional instrumentals, with a few non-Irish crowd favorites mixed in for good measure. Our main influences are The Dubliners and The Pogues, with a touch of Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys to keep things interesting. Our full lineup is 5 guys, but we're able to trim down to 3 or 4 if there are space concerns.

What to Expect
- Fun, upbeat, traditional Irish music
- Ability to engage with the audience
- High quality, full sound system
- Professionalism and reliability
Formed at Boston College for a St. Patrick's Day party in 2013, Sláinte has evolved from a few guys putting on a show for their friends into an established, professional band, entertaining crowds across Massachusetts.
Sláinte's full lineup consists of 5 members, and features a variety of instruments including: acoustic guitar, bass guitar, fiddle, tin whistle, accordion, tenor banjo, mandolin, and harmonica.
We have plenty of experience playing both private functions and pubs, and are happy to tailor our setlist toward a specific audience.
Additional Booking Notes
We have our own sound gear, but happy to work with a house system if that's what the client wants. We run with a fairly simple setup (3 direct lines and 3 mics).
