Silvergrass

We are an acoustic instrument band specializing in bluegrass, old time, Western swing, and classic country music. We are primarily a duo of Guitar and Mandolin with harmony vocals. When occasions arise, we call upon fellow musicians to sit in on bass, banjo, fiddle, etc. depending on the scenario. While we have some original music we are always happy to include, we primarily pull from bluegrass standards to provide fun, recognizable entertainment.

Silvergrass born out of Los Angeles' booming acoustic music scene, Mike Murray (guitar and vocals) and Jordan Kiener (mandolin and vocals) bring together an eclectic blend of music rooted in bluegrass while drawing from folk, Americana, and beyond. The duo is often joined by other world-class mucisians, creating a dynamic lineup of accomplished musicians known for expressive instrumental performances and rich vocal harmonies. Whether performing as a duo or a full ensemble, they deliver acoustic music with energy, craftsmanship, and a genuine love for the tradition.

Important things we need are close vehicle access to the location of the performance so we can reasonably unload any equipment (including instruments, microphones & stands, amplifiers if applicable, etc.).
