March 23, 2026These guys are the real deal!
Ryan and his bluegrass Guesthouse Band helped entertain at our outdoor party and they were a hit! First, Ryan was so professional and easy to work with as we planned. For the event, they had a small group play acoustically for our cocktail hour, then they later had the full band play and they got everyone line dancing. Thank you Ryan and all of the musicians! Don't hesitate to hire The Guesthouse Band!

March 18, 2025Public Library Bluegrass Show was Great!
We hired Ryan and the band to play an all ages show at the Burbank Public Library on a Saturday. Our community loves live music, and people of all ages showed up to enjoy the show. Ryan was very professional, communicative and an overall super nice presenter to work with! We got a lot of wonderful comments from patrons about loving the show and hoping to have them come back again in the future. If you're looking for a very upbeat (and informative!) show, I wouldn't hesitate to book them. Thanks again!

About
More than a band, more than Bluegrass, The Guesthouse is a musical collective that draws from the rich Southern California music community, energetically performing a mix of new and old styles of music as a 5-piece ensemble. Led by Los Angeles CBA Regional Director Ryan Schindler, the band often features 'Guests' at live shows, ranging from Carlton Barrett (Drummer; Bob Marley) to John Seltzer (Mandolin; Water Tower).
Featuring 4-part harmonies and fast rhythms, the members of The Guesthouse come from a diverse background of Jazz, Rock, Blues, Country, and Funk, and draw on their unique musical backgrounds to play Bluegrass with a sound that's never been heard before. The band features two lead singers- Ryan Schindler and Andrew Frankel- and celebrates the strengths of each to take the stage on a rollercoaster of both covers and original material. Steve Welch on dobro in a Jerry Douglas aficionado, and plays the instrument just about as fast and well as it can be played! Mark Groner on the mandolin has the chop that never stops! The Guesthouse is about fun, celebration, and wonderful music- their live shows are a testament to this passion and leave the crowd always smiling and wanting more!
