July 25, 2026Shawn performed at Easter service at our little Tabor Church, in rural Wisconsin. Her violin playing is stellar, along with her soaring voice and beautiful presence. The congregation loved her! She fit right in with the Tabor community.
Shawn played quiet meditative violin music during the prelude.
Then she played 2 Scandinavian songs from “Secret Garden”, with piano accompaniment, during the service.
She also joined in on the closing hymn, “The Goodness of God”, on violin with piano accompaniment, and then blew away the congregation with her strong soaring voice on the final verse. Magnificent. The congregation wasn’t expecting her to sing, so it was a big joyful surprise for the finale.
She then played spirited violin music during the postlude.
It was a wonderful memorable service, and we look forward to Shawn’s violin and voice at a future service. Five stars!
