Seth Eberle Puppets

On the day of a performance, audience members can expect that performers will arrive early. Some shows require 30 minutes prior to show for set up, and others require 1 hour We will deliver a professional, high quality puppet show, usually lasting 30-45 minutes. After the performance, we will show the puppets to audience members. Then, we will take another 30 minutes removing the puppets and stage from the site location.

BIO:

Puppets 'n' People began as a suitcase puppet show to spread joy across the United States performing at libraries, children's museums, child-care centers, farmer's markets, backyards, art studios, art museums, parks, and more. The first puppet show asked audience members to share the story of the happiest moment of their life. Some of these joyful moments were then added back into the puppet show. Since then, Puppets 'n' People has created three puppet shows for the Minnesota Zoo, performed as part of the Saturday Matinee series and PuppetLab at In the Heart of the Beast, created a puppet show called Domingo Siete based on a Mexican folk tale, and created a touring birthday party puppet show.

WHAT WE DO:

We create fun, professional puppet shows that are great for audiences of all ages for birthday parties, fairs, festivals, or other special events. We also can offer workshops or interactive activities in puppetry and mask performance for crowds and event attendees as well as several specialty wandering puppet characters for a more informal setting. Regardless of what we do for your event, we will make sure that it goes back to the roots of our initial project, bringing joy wherever we go.

Our formal puppet shows require a flat playing space of at least 8 feet by 6 feet. All of our audio equipment can run off of a portable generator we bring, but in the case of our generator not working, access to an electrical outlet is helpful as a back-up. We can perform outdoors or indoor, but we do require a flat playing area outdoors.

For our wandering gigs, we have several puppets or mascot characters to choose from. The character type will depend on your event as well as how tall the space in which the characters are wandering will be.
