Sara Van Buskirk is a Texas-based Songwriter & Musician whose thoughtful lyrics and moving melodies bring the heart to attention.

A child of an encouraging single mother Sara grew up with a strong sense of herself and the space to cultivate her talent on her own time. She taught herself to play guitar at age 8 after finding her father's old Alvarez in the closet. She wrote her first song at age 10 and hasn't stopped since. SVB has had the pleasure of playing thousands of stages in her 25+ years experience including a few with Joe Ely as well as Liz Phair. Her favorite way to spend her time is making music with her friends, playing with her family & pets outdoors, traveling & woodworking.
