Santa At Large

A very realistic rendition of Santa Claus who would bring happiness and joy to children and adults alike. I feel that I have the spirit of Christmas within my heart and that would be conveyed to everyone in attendance.

I was born and raised in Batesville, Mississippi where I graduated from South Panola High School in 1989, and left this area for a while afterwards. I spent just under ten years in the Air Force and the past 18 years I was an over the road truck driver. I decided to give freelance Santa portrayal a try this year while I took some time off the road. I’ve always enjoyed the magic of Christmas and how it can be conveyed into the hearts of children and adults both alike. I want to be able to convey that same feeling of excitement in magic to children that I felt in my childhood and as I felt as an adult one time in my 40s when I cross paths with a Santa Claus that if there ever was a Santa Claus that was him. I want to be able to convey some of that to the world myself. I am 5’11” tall, I weigh 360 pounds, and my beard and hair are real, but they have been bleached so that I look more like Santa. I have a really good imagination, and I am pretty quick with a come back when the kids asked me those difficult questions that Santa sometimes gets. I have experience with special needs individuals because I have a special needs son in Oklahoma and I grew up with a special-needs brother.

As long as there’s an area where children can gather around Santa to either sit on his lap or stand beside him so that their parents can take pictures however they see fit I should be OK.
