From our first interaction we were completely impressed by Sometimes Santa! We contacted most of the Santa’s in our surrounding area and his response was the lengthiest and most thoughtful response of them all. Every step of the way he was quick to respond and to ensure he understood our vision for our daughter’s birthday party. When the day came, he absolutely delivered and exceeded our expectations! All of us were blown away. The kids said it was the best birthday party they’ve ever been to! He spent time with each child and created a truly magical experience! He is the ‘real deal’!!! We were so excited to have Sometimes Santa join us for our Southern Reins Center for Equine Therapy Annual Christmas Party! He arrived on time, was professional, and just an all-around wonderful person.
What made him truly special was how he took the time to visit with every table—talking with volunteers, greeting attendees, and most importantly, spending quality moments with our participants. He even joined a carriage ride we had arranged, which made the day even more magical!
Even though we know how busy he must be this time of year, he stayed and spent extra time with us, spreading joy and making everyone feel valued. He went above and beyond, and we can’t recommend him enough!

Sometimes Santa was a wonderful addition to our annual Christmas party! Santa was easy to communicate with, arrived on time, and overall was just fabulous. Santa spent one-on-one time talking to each child, asking questions, etc. and posed for pics with them, too. Highly recommend Sometimes Santa!

What to expect
I am an 'all-natural' Santa, albeit a little on the light side but nobody seems to notice. ;) I have an easy smile, a hearty laugh and an extroverted personality. My suit and the adornments are all professional grade and are professionally maintained. I will show up on time, in costume, in character, clean, and smelling good.
I am comfortable spending time with the children and trying to give them a personalized experience. I don't like the 'photo mill' experience of 'sit, smile, snap, and leave'. Consequently, it is not unusual to spend 5 minutes per child, but of course, each child is different. (That's only important for your planning)
I don't do malls and absolutely no pets without serious up charges to cover cleaning costs.
I am 'quick on my feet' so whether your event is 'business', 'awards presentations', parties, fund-raisers, hospitals, schools, or churches, I can fit right in and deliver a high-quality Santa experience.
About
Started portraying Santa in 2017. Began by delivering toys to special needs children in public school. After a couple of years I started receiving requests for posing with families for Christmas cards and Holiday mailings. Next came corporate engagements where I would show up as 'business Santa' and hand out Christmas bonuses or provide party entertainment. Based on that exposure, I started getting requests for private parties in people's homes, and from neighborhood associations for larger outdoor events. I do not do mall work but I am available for parades and other retail opportunities.
In 2021, I moved to the Memphis area and left all my Santa gigs behind in Houston, TX. Still building my network in the 901!
In 2023, I chose to maintain the beard year-round. The beard is all natural both in color and curl. I'm naturally jolly with a hearty laugh and an easy smile.
Additional booking notes
Ideally, you would have a means of communicating (to me) the names of the children as they are engaged. This could be an earpiece, or a poster board across the room. This little effort greatly improves the child's (or grandmother's) experience.
If you need 'presentation services', then a mic is helpful but I have a big voice that is sufficient for most purposes.

Setup requirements
I arrive with only what is on my back. I do not provide sets, backdrops, chairs, or benches. I will need water available, and access to a restroom. Depending upon the length of the engagement, I may require a changing room.
