If you are hosting any event - a wedding, birthday, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, anniversary, you name it - I'm here for you! I have many different unique packages that come with various reasonable rates. I primarily sing jazz for events, but often have requests to also bring in my musical theater repertoire and/or my original compositions. Some packages also include other music genres/songs of your choice!
My standard package would be as a solo act with professionally made tracks both recorded by live bands or made with high-end recording software.
More premium packages I have include me singing with a band. I can either provide the musicians (which is always an easier and cleaner process) but you're more than welcome to hire a separate band on your own.
Hi! My name is Sam Valk, I'm an NYC-based jazz singer, actor, composer, and lyricist. I received my BFA in Musical Theatre from Molloy University's conservatory, CAP21 in 2023. Since then, I have starred in my off-Broadway show Sam Valk: A Valk In The Park at Feinstein's 54 Below. I have also performed at the iconic Carnegie Hall when I was 14 years old and have performed in musicals with regional and local theaters. In addition to my extensive training in Musical Theater, I am also trained in jazz singing, and have written my own original jazz/cabaret-style/musical theater songs and shows. I do ask that speakers are provided as well as either wired or wireless microphones are provided (if a solo act - 2 mics are preferable, but 1 reliable mic should do the trick. For the package that includes a band, we can talk about what would be needed).
***Note for providing speakers**** The speaker set up would need to be either one speaker that is able to play my jazz tracks from my laptop via bluetooth AND be output for the microphone. OR it can be 2 seperate speakers that do each of those functions above separately rather than all at once.
Lighting and situation of the performance area is entirely up to you as long as the area fits everyone involved!
