Technical & Performance Requirements

To ensure your fundraising event runs smoothly and yields the highest possible returns, please review the following technical, staffing, and logistical guidelines for Sam Reece, Benefit Auctioneer.

🎙️ Audio & Sound Requirements

Microphone: A high quality wireless microphone (preferably a lapel/lavalier or a robust handheld mic) is required. Freedom of movement is essential for engaging the crowd.

Sound System: The house sound system must provide clear, even coverage across the entire venue so the rhythm of the chant and item descriptions are perfectly audible.

Equipment Note: If your venue does not have a microphone or sound system available, please let us know in advance we may be able to provide professional audio equipment for your event.

💡 Staging & Lighting

Visibility: The auctioneer stage or podium should be centrally located with a clear, unobstructed sightline to all guest tables.

Lighting: Well lit staging is preferred so guests can easily read body language and expressions, which are vital for driving entertainment value and high bids.

👥 Staffing & Personnel

We provide a seasoned team to manage the floor and ensure accurate tracking, but we require a partnership with your organization for financial checkout:

Bid Spotting (Ringmen): I typically bring two or more professional ringmen to work the floor. They excel at catching bids, maintaining high energy, and working the crowd to maximize your fundraising potential.

Organization Requirement (Cashier/Money Handler): The host organization must provide at least one dedicated individual to handle money, processing, and guest checkouts. My team will hand off the finalized, accurate clerk sheets to your financial representative at the conclusion of the live auction.
