Rising Heart Wedding Officiants

We feel badly about how disappointing your experience was, and want to take some of the responsibility for your unhappiness, however feel we did do our best in attempts of taking care of you. We don’t wish to fault you, as you were clearly overwhelmed and had little or no support; there clearly was no “Bridal party.”The change in officiants was initiated a little over a month in advance of the wedding; at the time you were agreeable. Travel plans were necessary and unusual. I secured an alt minister in my absence a little over a month ahead of scheduled ceremony. Multi attempts were made but you were unable to make time to consult with new officiant; barely through text or email. Officiant offered to drive an hour to make it easy for personal connection & discuss wedding details & offered to be there earlier on the day of ceremony to take more time re rehearsal, you were unavailable until one hour prior to the wedding to meet. When minister arrived wedding party was focused on trying to clear water from wind and rain and were still n set-up process; ceremony was delayed due to weather. You seemed overwhelmed from the beginning and were doing everything including all of the set up all on your own. The only connection minister was able to be make was with DJ & asked about music cues he had no idea. Time was not made available for details to be discussed at all; no communication to minister when ceremony was ready to start. Prior to ceremony, minister attempted to communicate, you were caught up with last minute photos. Noticing this minister went back outside to attend to completing the Altar set-up. Table provided too small for the items that had been agreed upon to be set-minister was completing Altar set-up, ceremony began with no cue at all to minister; no music nor communication. During vow exchange, once minister understood groom needed fewer words repeated, minister broke them up to fewer words at a time.
