Rick Hamel is more than just an acoustic guitarist and singer. He is an actual one man band using a loop pedal and harmony pedal to make it sound as if there is more than one person on the stage. He also plays electric guitar as well as acoustic guitar to give more variety to his performances. He is an expert at reading any audience and playing just the right music at the right time He has experience in all venues from the quietest restaurants to large noisy bars.

Rick Hamel is an acoustic guitarist who plays music for corporate events, wedding cocktail hours and after parties, private parties, festivals, community events and holiday parties. He has over 20 years experience playing a wide variety of music from all eras and genres including Classic Rock, Country, and modern Pop hits. He literally is a "one man band'. His set list includes hits from The Beatles, Tom Petty, Bad Company, Bon Jovi, Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox 20, Audioslave, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Cole Swindell, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett and more! He also uses a looper pedal and vocal harmony pedal add another dimension to his unique acoustic arrangements and make it sound as if there is more than one musician on stage.

Rick is also available with his trumpet to play “Taps” for military funerals, Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, etc.

Rick received music scholarships from Berkley School of Music and Boston University for trumpet and guitar and has been playing music since the age of 10. He was a night club DJ at one point in his career and has a knack for playing the right song at the right time and being able to keep an audience happy.
