What to Expect
You can expect to hear language, sexual content, and other adult friendly topics. You can expect to hear stories and experiences pulled from my life, my perception of the world and the odd people I encounter, and you can expect to understand how I think by seeing the blueprints of how I think about things, and what an over thinker I am. Expect sarcasm, witty humor, both low brow and high brow comedy.
My name is Rick Campos, a Brazilian American, born and raised in NYC. I’ve always lived a life of in betweens, the grey area. I grew up in a Brazilian neighborhood in a Brazilian culture and setting but was more American and shared more American traditions. I wanted to become a cop after high school, and so I became a criminal. I’m considered “white” but talk more like I’m “black”. I used to be be a personal trainer, now I’m a comedian. I have always been a fence rider on ideals and when debating with people. My act is one big inner monologue I have with myself, I am the devil’s advocate. My quick witted intelligence helps me come up with hypotheticals and scenarios that hopefully sets the audiences’ wave length or frame of thinking, into my way of thinking. I love to take big philosophical or societal concepts/observations of us as a society and frame it in a funny way so that audience can see the reflection of our actions in today’s time. I love to make people laugh -but most of all, THINK for themselves and QUESTION everything.
