August 15, 2018Very Talented and Entertaining!
We host "Cheese Night" events at our farm with live music. Remarkapaul was our music for our July event and was outstanding. Jokes and interaction with the guests, along with being very talented musically, made for a fun evening!
Thanks Paul!

We had a wonderful time, really appreciate being asked to play here. Especially nice of the weather people to cooperate after a couple weeks of upper 90's, to drop the humidity and give us upper 70's! Recommend checking out Terrell Creek Cheese Farm and reserve a spot in one of their monthly cheese night dinners.

What to expect
Expect the sound of a five piece band to come from a two piece band! Two wonderful guitar players (one on rhythm, one on outstanding lead), foot pedal bass (equaling the sound of most good band bass players), and rhythm pedal (shaker, bells and tambourine built into a bass drum pedal.) People are mesmerized by the incredible sound produced by the instruments; then add the excellent vocals enhanced by an electronic harmonizer which gains the harmony from the chords played by the rhythm guitar. The duo is new, and has already been re-signed for more where they've played.
About
Paul Phariss started playing the piano at 5, and tho' didn't get too far, learned the basics of music; harmony, rhythm and note identification. He started playing trumpet in 3rd grade, graduated to most brass instruments by high school. Joined a youth choir in high school and once a year toured the west coast. Has been in several rock bands, each one of course destined to take the world by storm! He was music director at the First Unitarian Universalist Church in Springfield MO for the better part of 20 years. He's done much solo work on stage, self taught on guitar (rhythm finger picking), ukulele and foot pedal bass, giving a very full "one man band" sound. He looks forward to a very successful move forward in his musical life.
