Acoustic funk singer-songwriter alternative folk-rock...with a twist.
Dubbed by Springfield News-Leader columnist Larry Collins as the band that performs “original covers”, we put our high energy acoustic rock driven spin on literally 100’s of cover songs spanning all genres and all decades of music. With over 60+ original songs, we greatly enjoy filling setlists with original music that has been critically acclaimed (Reverbnation curators) and extremely well-received by audiences and listeners. Over the last decade (since 2009) we have had TV appearances on KOLR-10, KY-3, FOX, and the Emmy Award Winning show The Mystery Hour, along with rocking every stage possible in and around SGF.

We hired Todd to play a house party for large group. Todd was super communicative the entire time. Him and Eric (drummer) showed up early and got their equipment set up. They jammed for 3 hours playing to the crowd an eclectic set up covers in their own style. We could not have been happier with the decision to hire Todd for our event. HIGHLY Recommended!! We will definitely be using him again for future parties.

Hometown Tourist was a great band for our party. Their music was awesome and they were very nice and cordial to everyone. All of our guests had a great time. The cold did start to get to everyone so they ended the set a little early, but most people were ready to leave anyway. Gig Salad made it easy to book, keep in touch and get updates to and from the band. We will be glad to let our friends know about this service and how to book for their next event!

Hometown Tourist did a fantastic job at my 50th birthday party. They totally exceeded my expectations. The guitarist, the saxophonist, vocals, drummer-FANTASTIC! Having live music at my party really made the event extra special. Thank you again Hometown Tourist and GigSalad for making it happen.

The band played for my brother's surprise 40th birthday and did a fantastic job! They were very flexible and easy to work with. Set up outside on the grass and created a great intimate setting. Played all types of artists and genres. Everyone loved it. Will book again and highly recommend for any occasion. Thank you!

This is an all-star band of ultra-talented musicians in the Springfield local music scene! Their live shows are packed with positive energy, laughs, amazing musicianship, and a crowd connection that I've never seen before. The sounds are incredibly tight and exceptionally complex while remaining appealing to a mainstream audience as well. I really liked how they put their own twist on the cover songs (that were a wide variety of genres and decades of my favorite music), and the original songs they played were amazing! Highly recommend seeing them live locally before they blow up and you have to pay $40 per ticket!
