Acoustic funk singer-songwriter alternative folk-rock...with a twist.
Dubbed by Springfield News-Leader columnist Larry Collins as the band that performs “original covers”, we put our high energy acoustic rock driven spin on literally 100’s of cover songs spanning all genres and all decades of music. With over 60+ original songs, we greatly enjoy filling setlists with original music that has been critically acclaimed (Reverbnation curators) and extremely well-received by audiences and listeners. Over the last decade (since 2009) we have had TV appearances on KOLR-10, KY-3, FOX, and the Emmy Award Winning show The Mystery Hour, along with rocking every stage possible in and around SGF.

We had the pleasure of having Hometown Tourist perform at our recent Summer Sessions event, and they were fantastic! Their energy, talent, and ability to connect with the crowd created such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. We received so many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the music. The band played for 3 hours and were amazing! My guests loved them! Great classic rock songs! They knew how to manage the guests and venue for noise levels!!! I would absolutely book them again!!
