We hired Raquel to sing opera at my mother's 90th birthday party. It took place in a living room with about 40 people. Raquel did a superb job -- she sang three songs and before each song told us the story behind it. Her presence was professional and friendly. After her performance, she stayed for over an hour talking with my mother and her friends. I highly recommend Raquel.

My mentors in opera were the gorgeous performances of Maria Callas, Kiri Te Kanawa, Cecilia Bartoli, and Anna Netrebko!

Raquel Dolphinaria: Dramatic Soprano
Over 40 years of singing, and perform when I’m given 30-60 days notice as an Opera Singer is not a jukebox, but a gift that requires practice, accompaniment, and sheet music depending on the request. You may go to SoundCloud and listen to my years of performances. My minimum is $100 per aria. Tips are always welcome. Living in Northern California I sing when I can, and if it’s the right timing. This is my gift, my art form, and I would love to share it with you as my range is mezzo soprano to soprano. All the elements change our voice, our ability to perform, requires readiness.

Voiceover work in all settings with Italian, Spanish, German, French and English. Commercials, Cartoon Characters, and Business IVR work. Give 20 days notice to perfect your choice in music, purchase background, and give my voice time to set in the piece. Please request a quote.

Italian, Spanish, Latin, Jewish, German and French Repertoire and willing to learn new music no problem! I can sing most cover tunes from the 70's to the present within the range of mezzo to soprano. I will need 30-60 days to perfect your aria, and time to purchase your music.
Influences and inspiration
Opera singing requires discipline in the voice and expression. One needs to understand the technical side as well as the passionate. The love of languages and an art form. Four professors in my career mentored me into the voice I have today. My influences are from singing in cover bands, major operas, musicals, jazz and techno/house music. If I had the gift of writing music I would have accomplished so much more, but the gift to transform a song with passion was evident early in my life.
