Rainier Riff has been playing a combination of Jazz, Rock, Country and Folk music for 20 years from Monterey, Ca to Seattle, Wa. Many of our tunes are originals with standards scattered throughout. David Lynch began playing guitar at 6 years old and formed the rock group “Nobodys Children” in Brussels, Belgium for 3 years in the late 60’s. For 2 years in Boston, MA he formed the group “Tree Frog Boogie Ensemble” and after that played solo for coffe shops, clubs, weddings and parties until meeting John Little in Santa Cruz, CA. in the early 90’s. Lynch & LittleJohn performed together for 10 years in the San Francisco Bay area and recorded an album in Palo Alto, CA in 1989. Moving to Washington State in 2011 the group reformed with Maryka and Paul in Rainier Riff. Paul Askier began playing bass in the 50’s with the likes of the Chambers Brothers in LA. He joined David and Maryka in Rainier Riff in 2015. Maryka Ford has been playing Congos since the late 90’s in the Seattle percussion scene. In 2006 she began playing music with David and in 2008 married her guitarist. It has been musical history since then.

We have all our own equipment, amplifiers, PA system etc. If you provide the PA then it makes travel and setup much easier for us, thank you.
