Booking information

Price range: $200 - $2000

Languages: English, Spanish

Gig length: 30 - 180 minutes

What to expect

I am NOT a solo performer at this point. This is a posting for a guitarist for hire for live bands, live singers, or studio projects in need.

I am always at least one hour early to any gig. I am typically 10-20 minutes early for rehearsals and recording sessions.

You can expect me to have the material either fully memorized or charted + practiced; I will communicate with you if the situation is anything less than that. I learn all of the important melodies and figures (I once worked as sound crew for a wedding band, and the new guitarist didn't know the guitar line for "My Girl"; YUCK). I emphasize rhythm guitar playing.

I'll come dressed appropriately for the gig. If it's a wedding or similar event, I'll have a suit or other nice dress clothes; if it's casual, I always have black jeans and black t shirts. Let me know if you have a specific vision for YOUR project, I'm happy to cater to that and make it work.

I'm very even-keeled. Almost always calm, extremely patient, and understanding. It takes a lot to get me flustered. If that sounds like someone you want in your circle, I'm your man.

About

18 Years of playing experience. 10 years of professional experience as a guitarist. 4 years of professional experience as a bassist.

BA in Music from Cal State Los Angeles, June 2016. Certificate in Recording Arts from Citrus Community College, June 2019.

I also work as a live sound tech and stagehand. If you have need of those services as well, I'm open to that.

I have touring experience as a guitar tech with The Aristocrats (summer 2024 + spring 2025).

I'm happy to play around town, and would be ecstatic to play as a touring player, particularly if the price is right.

Additional booking notes

I come with my own gear. This can include: 1-2 electric guitars for the gig, an acoustic guitar for the gig, a baritone electric guitar is available upon request, a tube amp (Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb reissue) (22W), a solid state amp for acoustic guitar if necessary (Acoustic brand), a small-ish pedalboard for the tube amp (tuner, wah pedal, a couple of drivers, octaver, phaser, delay, reverb), a digital guitar pedal + FRFR amp rig (Fractal FM9 + Fender Tone Master FR-12); high quality instrument cables, a wireless WiFi setup for the guitar to walk around wirelessly; a dynamic microphone, mic stand, XLR cables; amp stand, music stand, guitar stands; iPad and pedal format page turner;
Electric guitars include: Reverend Jetstream 390 (3 P90s); Gretsch Double Jet; custom garage build Stratocaster (3 single coils); Squier Telecaster (looks like Jonny Greenwood's Tele; but with two single coils); Epiphone Sheraton II (two humbuckers with coil splits); another garage assembled Telecaster with humbuckers; Squier Tele-style baritone (2 P90s).
The one acoustic guitar I own is made by D'Angelico, it has an electric output to it and an onboard tuner + EQ circuit.

I have a Soundcraft Signature 12MTK mixer that I can bring if need be. No speakers. Plenty of cableage, a couple of mic stands, a few microphones, a DI or two. I have a couple of Zoom recorders as well.

I also play bass and have a bass rig. Sire PJ bass, Squier J bass, Ernie Ball Music Man Joe Dart Signature Stingray bass, GK MB112 combo bass amp, small pedalboard (tuner, opto compressor, driver, EQ).
