September 18, 2023Great music for an outdoor event!
I booked PNB for my work's annual fundraiser. We hosted the event outside (picnic style), and our attendees had a blast - many said the music was great and made their evening. The band did such a great job contributing to the ambiance for the guests as they enjoyed their food, sipped cocktails, and relaxed by the river. I definitely recommend PNB for anyone looking for a band that brings good energy and appeals to audiences of all ages. The communication was consistent and timely throughout the whole process. Nothing beats live music!

What to expect
Clients can expect an entertaining, fast-paced show full of songs they recognize and may even remember some of the words to. We welcome audience interaction, singing along and dancing; swing numbers and waltzes in particular seem to get the dancers out of their seats. The main focus will be on the music -- winning melodies, gorgeous harmonies on fiddle and lap steel, and song stories that are heart-wrenching or hilarious. We do just enough talking to engage the audience, tell the stories behind the songs, maybe tell a few jokes... then jump right into the next song. Audiences will enjoy the lively and loving interaction between the band members -- we are having a great time and that is contagious.
We have a particular focus: the country and Western swing classics of the mid-1900s. This will transport the audience back to our grandparents' time, but these songs are timeless. Where necessary we have updated some lyrics with our own.
