I started studying the flute at 6 years old and did a bachelor's degree in Académie Supérieure de Musique de Strasbourg in classical Flute.
I completed a bachelor's in Jazz Performance at McGill University, and keep playing classical music.
I am qualified, adaptable, and professional. As a flutist in a wind quintet and in several jazz bands, if you need a musician or a group of musicians for your event, I can find anything.

August 12, 2019We requested that Pierre play for our Mother’s Interment. He played three pieces, on Eagles Wing, Amazing Grace and a piece of his choosing by Bach. He was excellent. He arrived early, he played a beautiful intro, he melded very well with the minister’s service, we couldn’t have asked for more. Would highly recommend. My only regret is that I wish I had have taped him.he was so good that passers by stopped to listen. Thank you Pierre.

August 7, 2019We hired Pierre to play at my Mom’s interment at Mount Royal Cemetery. He made a sad event so much nicer. He arrived as scheduled and played beautifully. He knew exactly when to play and when to fade out without any rehearsal, such a professional. We asked him if he could learn a piece of music which he did, “On Eagles Wing” and he played it beautifully. Just wish I could have taped him playing. I would highly recommend him for any event. Pierre Mendola is a musician and composer from France currently residing in Montreal, Canada.
Previously studying classical flute at Strasbourg’s Conservatoire Superieur, Pierre recently graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Flute Performance.
During these years he had the opportunity to perform with, and be mentored by renowned musicians such as John Hollenbeck, Jean Michel Pilc and Ambrose Akinmusire.
Pierre is also the recipient of grants an award from Fondation Pour la Vocation Marcel Bleustein Blanchet, Concours du Royaume et Université de Montréal.
Performing in renowned festivals, including Jazz in Marciac and Montreal Jazz festival, he has also led several composition projects on the side in sound design, short film scoring, and publicity.
