I would highly recommend Gretchen was amazing! She was responsive in making the reservation. She was punctual. She had everything she needed with her. She set up and got right to work and literally the kids loved her, the painting she did was fantastic as well as the balloons! We were absolutely thrilled with our choice to use her!

Paintertainment provided face painting and balloon artistry for my daughter's 5th birthday. The artist was very patient with the children and very skilled - she ended up being the highlight of the party, even more than the bounce house! The face painting was absolutely gorgeous and the balloons went far beyond your typical balloon animals -- multiple colors, multiple balloons, faces, eyes, etc. Worth every penny for my daughter's special day!!!

Our company had two each for face painters, balloon artists, and caricature artists. Every person was great! They seemed to enjoy the day and engaged the people with whom they interacted - adults and kids. As a planner, it was fun to provide activities that families might not experience due to cost.

Gretchen from Paintertainment is the best around. We hired her for our daughter's 7th birthday party. It was so much fun. The kids LOVED it. Besides being incredibly talented and one of the best face painters I have ever seen, Gretchen is incredibly kind and easy to work with. She was very patient with the kids and accommodated all of their requests and ideas. We will definitely hire her again.

We hired Gretchen to do facepainting for our 10 year anniversary party. I based my decision in large part on the talent displayed in pictures from websites and had high expectations. To say I was not disappointed would be an understatement. Everything about the experience of working with Gretchen was great. She was prompt and informative in correspondence. She was prompt and prepared for the event. The kids loved her work and many came back several times over the course of the event. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Guests can choose from a board of designs, put together especially for your event. We paint all ages, and love to get creative with special requests and unique placement of designs! Additional Booking Notes
I only use face paints and glitters that are FDA approved for cosmetic use. Anything else can be very dangerous to children's delicate skin, and safety is of utmost importance! I realize just how hectic things can get for an event planner, so I bring along everything that I need, including my table and chairs, so you don't have to do extra work!

Influences & Inspiration
I come from a family of artists and have been painting since I was old enough to hold a brush. I started face painting in high school, and have continued through college and ever since! I am constantly striving to explore what's new and what's going on in the face and body painting profession and tapping into my own artistic skills to give you the latest and greatest designs!
