OTR's goal is to make your event a success and a memory of good times for all who attend! It's about your guests. We are there to make it happen!
We play a variety of genres to get people up on the floor and singing to their favorite dance and slow groove songs! No Genre Is Off Limits from smooth jazz, classic rock, R&B, country western, pop, Latin, funk and more.
All our band members are professionals in the business. Some are hired by prominent promoters nationally and local for shows of well-known artists and bands. We are timely and dressed appropriately for the occasion.
We communicate clearly with the event planner concerning set-up time, number of sets, breaks, technical equipment, logistics, space requirements, etc., so that the contract is clear for both parties. We do our best to be flexible with last-minute changes depending on the request.
OTR plays a wide variety of music: R&B, classic rock, funk, country, smooth jazz, Latin, progressive, blues, and more. No genre is off limits. We are an upbeat, "get people moving" kind of band. Our members are seasoned musicians and vocalists. Some have toured nationally, have appeared recently on MTV's Video Music Awards in New York, and are featured in the DC Legendary Musicians, and have travelled abroad! Some have opened up for major artists and band shows.
OTR has its own instruments. No backline equipment is needed unless it is provided by the event planner or venue.
We require ample space for our six (6) band memebers to perform and for our sound engineer with equipment. If sound is provided, we can adjust. If the venue has a stage, it has to accommodate six band members with sufficient room for instruments and some sound equipment such as stage monitors for vocalists, etc.
Lighting is a requirement for our performances. A table for the band is a requirement or a green room is available.
This is a sample set list. We play many more songs and continue to add to our repertoire:
