Originaljones<OMB> is a one man band that sounds like a live full band. OJ plays guitar and sings live to tracks. he has pre-recorded in his personal studio. OJ has a Masters Degree in Music Appreciation, Theory and Performance from Southern University' Baton Rouge La. and San Jose St. Univ. OJ plays all instruments, Bass, Guitar, Drums, Keyboards, and Horns' as well as sings all lead and background vocals. Originaljones has had the pleasure of working, studying and performing with some of today's top musicians and professors. OJ is retired military, but has a multiple subject teaching credentials and substitute teach elementary school when not on the road performing!

OJ just came and performed at our 4th of July bbq and it was amazing! The perfect addition to a lovely afternoon bbq. He sang the best Blues / Motown and Reggae and by the end of the night he was part of the family. The sweetest person and just a delight to listen to. OJ is very reliable and I would recommend him for any event!

What to expect
I'm a "ONE MAN BAND" I specialize in (Old School Music) Michael Jackson, Blood, Sweat and Tears,Diana Ross, The Four Tops, Spinners,Huey Lewis, Earth, Wind and Fire, and many,many more! I sing and play guitar to tracks I've created in my studio, Originaljones has been performing in the Bay Area as a "One Man Band since 2008. I spent many years playing with and performing with some of the world's biggest acts such as The Temptations, Johnny Walker, Tyrone Davis, The Allman Bros. Blood, Sweat and Tears, to name just a few. I have a Master Degree in Music Theory, Music Fundamentals, composition and Appreciation. I am currently teaching music Fundamentals in the Milpitas Unified School Dist.

I have all the equipment’ I need to perform for any venue! All I need is a source of electricity! I also have extra mics if needed for client dedications and speeches!
