Finding Faith through Devastation

We will be explaining the epidemic through a Mother's eyes and also through an addicts eyes. You will learn the affects it takes on everyone involved, especially young children. We will arm you with knowledge on what opioids do to the brain and who is your typical addict. Also, we will show you how to recognize if someone you love is using. We will also send you home with literature to read and a "Project Noelle" bracelet to help you to remember what we talked about.

I have experience as Christian Ed Director for 7 years and Youth Group Director for 3 years. In 2017 I lost my oldest daughter to the opioid epidemic. I had been praying for her to get better so would would God take her?? She had a teenage son and identical twin 4 year old boys and they all needed their Mom!! As I started to explore answers I found myself growing closer to God. Being from Ohio we are the 2nd worse state in the Country for overdose deaths, we had 4,854 deaths in 2017, my daughter being one of them.
How did Noelle go from being a college educated, beautiful, independent young lady to a drug addict? How was I going to survive raising children again while my son was still on the streets as an active drug user??
Since then I have started a non profit called Project Noelle. We now are now in 25 Ohio Counties and 6 Florida Counties helping children and families who have suffered from the horrible drug epidemic. Since children grieve differently than adults we knew they needed help and they were getting left behind in the addiction crisis. I then lost my son to overdose 4 years later.

Good people are dying in heartbreaking numbers leaving thousands upon thousands of children with no parents. What should we be doing?? What should you be doing??
