What do we provide?
Depending on how long and what type of performance you would like, we will provide a number of singers, one or more professional accompanists and a proposed program for your event. A program may consist of opera arias, duets, ensembles, or anything else that meets your needs.
Lyric Soprano Emily Thebaut is currently living in downtown Los Angeles, where she performs locally and runs her own private voice and piano studio. In addition to performing and teaching, Emily is a doctoral student in Vocal Performance at University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music. She recently relocated her voice and piano studio from the Bay Area, where she taught for 4 years and created and ran a non-profit, pop-up opera troupe, Opera on the Spot. Emily's most recent performance engagements have included performing the role of Laetitia from Menotti's The Old Maid and the Thief; Bianca, from Puccini's La Rondine at Oberlin in Italy, and the Governess from Britten's The Turn of the Screw at Bay Area Opera Theater. She has also performed numerous opera scenes at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she completed her Master’s in Music Degree (2014). Emily completed her undergraduate degree at the Oberlin Conservatory in 2012, where she performed lead roles in Jose Evangelista’s Les Excercises des Style and The Orpheus Project. Emily has also studied with the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, Oberlin in Italy and Opera Festival du Roma.
