Olivia Outdoors offers a gentle, interactive folk music experience designed especially for young children. Performances feature original songs about nature, the seasons, animals, and caring for the earth, presented with acoustic guitar, frame drum, and voice.
Children are invited to actively participate through simple rhythm, movement, and imaginative prompts such as marching, clapping, listening for animal sounds, and using hand motions. Background: Olivia is a life-long musician with years of formal training and experience performing original folk music for live audiences. She has toured throughout the East Coast, performed at regional festivals, and recorded multiple albums as part of an indie-folk duo, bringing a calm, grounded presence to her live work.

Set up is very minimal. For smaller groups of children, performances can be done completely acoustically with no sound set up. In a larger setting or noisy environment, Olivia will provide a small sound system that requires one regular power outlet.
