My name is Khari, I'm an artist myself (cartoonist, mainly) and I am starting an art management services that values preserving your humanity as an artist and retaining your autonomy and ownership over what you produce. I also like to move past these cold professional relationships in the industry and think of us as a community. When you consult with offbrand you become a part of the offbrand Community.

A professional yet personal relationship! I'm a lowkey person and an introvert. I like working 1:1 with people and I never overload my schedule, so when we're together you have my full and undivided attention.
I didn't take a traditional route to enter art management. I studied history (oppression & justice related), politics, and trained as an archivist and researcher. This just means I'm a quick learner and have a great sense of intuition. I was naturally drawn to this field because I studied the history and saw how artist, namely Black & Brown artist would create work, but struggled to retain ownership over it and make a comfortable living. I want to change the way we manage. I'm not interested in trapping you in contracts or adding my name to your work. I feel satisfied just watching artist thrive in their field and live free while doing so.
I've also spent some time getting life coaching training to help people heal from trauma and make the most of their life and manifest their greatest dreams. Spoiler, this all starts with getting in control of your thoughts. I can help with that!
Actually, currently I'm new to L.A. and my housing fell through so I'm running a trial period for my services. I'll take a couch to crash on while I work over monetary compensation. I have my food taken care of and I can make money on the side. This isn't about money for me but a passion to help people.
