We had Dalila for my husband bday during covid. She brought so much joy and played wonderful songs for us. She also played our requested songs beautifully. It was such a joy to have her. She is very knowledgeable. Thank you.

She played the songs we wanted perfectly and provided a phenomenal atmosphere for our wedding ceremony. I don't intend to have another one obviously, but if I did I would book her again.

Not only did Dalilia play beautifully, she saved the day by helping with the sound by connecting the microphone to her system. I would totally book her again.

Omg! She did an excellent job.

On time, followed instructions, and she brought her own computer that is self-powered. This was very important to me because the service was outdoors with no electrical outlets. Very professional and the guests really loved her music.

Dalila is an amazing performer! Her communication from the time we booked her up to the start of the event was impeccable! She followed our instructions to the T. It was a surprise proposal/birthday dinner so discrepancy was imperative!! She was very accommodating as the restaurant could not allow her to enter until the actual proposal! While performing she actually brought tears to our eyes! The bride said yes and Dalila sent her off with the perfect “let’s gets married” by Jagged Edge song! You won’t regret booking her, she’s reasonably priced, professional, and an all around beautiful person! Her energy is surreal and unmatched! No regrets at all! She was very well prepared and we appreciate the effort!

Dalila was punctual, professional, and very much musically talented. She did an amazing job and I cannot wait to hire her again.

In a time of sadness, having lost a loved one, planning for a proper burial and send off is always complicated and demanding. If our experience was the norm, having an accomplished violinist would be the closest thing to bringing heaven to the graveside. I can't fathom ever having a funeral without that touch again! We were lucky to have Dalila share her talent and sounds at our time of need, it was heavenly!

How do you thank two people whose beautiful music made your anniversary magical? There are no words! My wife said it was the best evening she’s ever had, and I have to agree! Their music is SO beautiful, they are simply amazing. In addition, they communicated well before the event, had a HUGE selection of music to choose from, they were prompt and on time, and even gave me her personal cell in case there were any questions before the event. The event was in our back yard, and several neighbors told me how beautiful the music was. Two of them just say I’m their yard and listened. They all loved it as well. And finally, Jim and Dalila are wonderful, friendly, kind people ! They are the best! I booked "Hudson & Delilah" for my surprise proposal to my partner! Within 3 minutes of posting the request on "Gig Salad" they wrote back with their interest to play my event and I appreciated their professionalism, quick communication, and that they were LGBTQ friendly :) The proposal went perfectly as planned, they followed every detailed request, and the music was so beautiful it made everyone in attendance cry! Delilah was able to help me pull off the perfect engagement proposal! She went above and beyond by setting a staging area with a blanket, rose pedals, and candles. She knew many songs and even played a special song I requested. I would highly reccomend her to anyone looking for a violinist. Her partner is also a very good guitarist so the two of them together make a great duo.

They Played at our wedding reception and they played all the songs perfectly and we even gave them music at the last minute and they were able to accommodate us and those songs weren't on their original playlist. This is my first time booking anything over the internet, especially an 80th birthday party for my dad. We're so very thankful to have come across Delilah and Jim on gigsalad! They were very prompt in my inquiries and very patient with my questions. Also on the day of the party, it rained in LA and they arrived ahead of time and are just pleasant and talented, easy-going musicians! Plus, they played a custom song that my dad wrote too and moved him and everyone in the room! They provided a range of variety of music from mellow to upbeat to contemporary. Highly recommend!

Dalilah and Jim were awesome!!! They are very talented and were perfect in setting the tone my daughter wanted for her wedding ceremony. I am SO VERY HAPPY with their performance and will definitely be using them again as well as recommending them. They made are special day EXTRAspecial! I had a couple of requests, which they accomadated. And asked her to use her judgement with a third song and she picked my granddaughters favorite (Hallelujah/Shrek song), without realizing it! Hudson&Delilah played at my fiance and I's engagement party and not only were we more than pleased with their performance, we were VERY appreciative and thankful for their flexibility and overall professionalism when it came to our program being delayed 30-45 minutes. We requested 2 specific performances, "A Thousand Years" and a last minute request to do a live backing of "Besame Mucho", and they came through with flying colors.
