We are a NJ based troupe with a number of performers that have many years of burlesque/live event experience. When we perform at a private event we like to cater to the specific needs of the client. If a client desires classic performances then we create a "traditional" burlesque show with fan dances, rhinestone covered costumes, bump and grind. If we are hired to perform nerdy burlesque we bring characters from a variety of sources: video games, movies, novels, comic books, cartoons and anime are all within our lexicon. We also create fully themed/scripted shows based around themes/film plots.
Our shows can have just classic burlesque but it can also feature bellydance, singing, pole dance, magic and sideshow. We have relationships with quite a few performers and we are able to reach out to them to perform with us.
For Birthday/Bachelor/Bachelorette parties we like to encourage the audience to participate by having a contest featuring a feather boa or a glove peel where the contestants do their best impersonation of a burlesque dancer. It gets everyone up and laughing and its always a good time.
Birthday/Bachelor Party shows feature the select number of performers and we create a show based on the wishes of the participants. We try to customize the event so that the main celebrant gets to enjoy a show with the type of performance/character/music they most enjoy.
Bachelorette Parties can run in the exact same way as the above but we also offer a fun option where we will do a performance and then run a beginner's how to class so the ladies in attendance can have some fun acting out their personal burlesque fantasy.
Corporate/Promotional Events these are where we tend to create a scripted or fully themed stage show to feature whatever the client desires ie a Dark Fairytale themed show for an animated series premiere of a Dark Fairytale themed series.
Our shows do not feature full nudity. (Pasties and g-strings are the furthest we go.) We do not do private dances or anything along those lines. We are best thought of as a stage show but we can perform anywhere we are given enough floor space and a private changing space.
