I am a solo artist (violin, viola, piano, and vocals) but also perform regularly with groups; Including harp, guitar, mandolin. I also play extensively with quartets/trios etc. Whatever the occasion be, I love to perform my original works, as well as covers that are requested. I would love to be a -part of your special event.

I love for the audience to be involved with the performance. Very Interactive. Fun. Enjoyable. Music is an awesome way to interact with people. It also tells beautiful stories. I want people to be touched by the performance.
Niki was raised in a musical family, with 2 other talented sisters and a mother who always pushed for excellence. She’s also put her time into studying her craft, achieving her Grade 10 in the Royal Conservatory of Music, as well as a Degree in music at a local university. Either way Niki is an energy to be counted on. Born in the country town of Abbotsford, BC, she has made her way to GM Place in Vancouver, singing with Josh Groben, and to BC Place Stadium as part of the largest orchestra in the world according to the Guiness Book of World Records. She was concertmaster of the CSO, while concurrently performing "Winter" by Vivaldi.
With all of that, Niki’s own style is emerging and demanding a hearing. She defines it as “the beauty of classical music combined with the culture and joy of fiddling”. Some might call it “acoustic roots”. Her collaborations with various artists are solidifying her sound.
Along the way, Niki has found delight in both performance and teaching. She tutors small children and has a waiting list of older students for her private lessons. Never standing still, she also makes time to write fiddle tunes for beginner to intermediate players under the name "Fiddle-ish" - combining her classical roots, with her love for fiddle culture.
To see Niki perform live is a treat many local BC folk have had. Whether at an intimate setting like the Watershed Arts Caf in Langley, or on a large stage as at Prospera Place in Kelowna, you can see her heart exposed as she does what she loves. Her passion is revealed in the words of Robbie Robertson, “Music should NEVER be harmless.” In Niki’s hands, it certainly is not.
lighting, sound system. Although this does not have to be, depending on the function. This would all be taken care of by the group.
