Nicholas Edward Williams
Overview
Ive been a professional touring guitarist, composer and singer/songwriter for the last 13 years. My aim id keeping the rich traditions of American music alive by blending folk and piedmont blues picking with soulful vocal melodies, bucolic prose, rolling harmonica and a stomp box. Ive opened for critically acclaimed acts Taj Mahal and The Wood Brothers, released nine full-length albums and have over a decade of high-mileage touring throughout the US, UK, Europe, and Australia. Aside from my own material, I play a laundry list of classic folk covers from the 60's and 70's, old folk traditional as well as old blues songs.

December 15, 2023Will book again!
We held a Christmas event for our clients in downtown Chattanooga, and Nicholas was the highlight of the evening. He is not only extremely talented but also well-engaged with the audience. He even got a chuckle out of us when a loud train passed by, as he played a song about freight trains immediately afterwards. Can't recommend highly enough.

What to expect
I'm able to adapt to the circumstance. I have upbeat folk and soul dance-ables, downtempo classics and songs that are beautiful and relatively unknown, background music, and listening environments. I have over 500 songs at my disposal, and I've never played a show in the last 5 years where people attending didn't walk away feeling a connection to the songs and the music.
