I'm available to perform solo on piano, piano and vocals, or guitar and vocals. My repertoire includes Jazz Classics, Rock, R&B, Country and Pop ranging throughout the 20th and 21st century. When you hire me, first we'll discuss all the details of your event including music selection, desired energy level, preferred dress and style, logistics, timing, etc. I'll make a written agreement of everything discussed. I'll arrive early at an agreed upon time to set up. My rig will include a small PA, my full size keyboard (or guitar), and a microphone. I'll do my best to give a performance that suits your vision. That includes being volume conscious, discerning an appropriate level of audience interaction, and performing with skillful professionalism.
Dustin Cottrell has been a professional musician for more than 25 years, performing extensively throughout the Southeast, across the United States, and overseas. He performs regularly on piano, guitar, and vocals in a variety of styles and settings.
In 1999, Dustin matriculated to Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL and studied Classical and Jazz piano. He was able to study directly with famed jazz pianist Marcus Roberts, who toured extensively with Wynton Marsalis. Dustin also studied under legendary Jazz educator Kevin Bales.
In 2005, Dustin moved to Atlanta, GA and immediately became immersed in the city’s thriving music scene, performing for Churches, Party Bands, Tribute Bands, Singer Songwriters, and more. Some acts Dustin has performed with include: Yacht Rock Review, Yacht Rock Schooner, Electric Avenue, Rumours: Fleetwood Mac Tribute, A1A: Jimmy Buffett Tribute, Departure: Journey Tribute, These Crowded Streets: Dave Matthews Band Tribute, Dusty’s Ragtime Circus, Blair Crimmins and the Hookers, and more.

Dustin also was featured as the Hand Double in the recent popular NBC series Ordinary Joe in which actor James Wolk plays a Musician. Dustin was featured performing live on piano and guitar in several episodes.
Dustin currently lives in Marietta, GA with his wife and son, and continues to perform and create in many ways.
