Nathaniel Earhart
Overview
I perform at weddings, private parties, fund raisers, outreach programs, art showings, and house concerts.
The music I play is from many classical styles and places, including, music from Spain, Italy, France, Venezuela, Brazil, and America. I play music from guitar composers in the style of Bach, Mozart, Debussy, Da Falla, and even Jobim, as well as many popular classical trascriptions. I have both a Masters and Bachelors degree in Guitar Performance from Southern Methodist University, and have experience performing professionally since 2008.

February 11, 2021Perfect Gift for my Dad
The gift of music was what I chose for my father's Christmas present and Nathaniel did not disappoint. He played so beautifully! We also enjoyed the stories he told behind the musical pieces - truly made us appreciate them even more. Nathaniel also took COVID precautions while in our presence which we really appreciated.
Fantastic job, Nathaniel. We will always appreciate you!

November 10, 2019Wedding Prelude
Nathaniel Earhart set a mood of elegance and reverence for a wedding held at 34 Events, an old market in downtown Plano on 11/7/19.
Everyone was enchanted with the selections that he played from past and present. He ended with “Elvis’ “I Can’t Help Falling in Love”. Earhart is a very talented musician.
He was easy to work with and very accessible through the GigSalad site.

About
Nathaniel holds three degrees from Southern Methodist University, a B.M., M.M., and P.D. in Guitar Performance, the latter two on full artistic scholarship. He currently teaches classical guitar as an associate professor at Collin College and Hill College. Prizes he has won include, first prize in the duet division in the professional/college category of the 11th UT Brownsville guitar competition, and the 2013 Dallas Allegro Guitar Society’s open audition/competition among other small wins and placements. In July 2013 Nathaniel was a top finalist in the prestigious Taxco, Mexico International Guitar Competition.
Earhart has performed nationally and internationally, and has performed as a soloist and as part of professional ensembles in many of the great halls in the DFW, such as the Morton Meyerson Symphony Center, the Winspear Opera House, the Dallas City Performance Hall, the Meadows Museum of Art, The Kimbell Art Museum Performance hall, and the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts, among others.
Additional booking notes
Depending on the venue I may need amplification, which I will provide. I will need to perform in an area close to an electrical outlet, on in a place that an extension chord won't get in the way.
