About

Lyndon Benjamin, professionally known as Mystic Warrior, grew up in Clarendon, Jamaica. At just six years old, he performed on stage for the first time, captivating the audience with his natural talent. “His tiny fingers,” his father would later recall, “could barely hold the microphone.” Yet, his performance captivated the audience and local artistes were so impressed they nicknamed him Prince Paradise, inspired by his father’s DJ name, King Paradise. By age seven, Lyndon had written his first song, filled with positive messages of love and unity—an early sign of his calling to create uplifting music. His lyrical prowess set him apart, earning him recognition during schoolyard battles and signaling that he was destined for greatness. After primary school, Lyndon spent time in Kingston, where he immersed himself in the vibrant music scene. At Flavor Squad Studios, he recorded his first professional track, Jah Watch Over Mi, marking the beginning of his musical journey.

Through unwavering determination and undeniable talent, Mystic Warrior broke barriers early in his career, earning a coveted feature on The Upperclass Album alongside reggae legend Sizzla and acclaimed artistes Jah Vinci and Savage. His breakout single, Me She Love, recorded at the renowned Mixing Lab Studio, became a pivotal moment that catapulted him into the spotlight. This achievement led to his debut live performance on Hype TV, one of Jamaica’s leading entertainment platforms, marking a bold and unforgettable introduction to the industry.

After relocating to Negril on Jamaica’s western tip, Lyndon Benjamin, then known as Prince Paradise, signed with 5 Rivers Entertainment. It was during this time that he embraced his lifelong spiritual calling, focusing on raising his consciousness and recording tracks like Mr. Hungry, Dem A Rush, and Mystic Vision. Following the release of Dem A Rush, Mystic Warrior was born—an artiste with a clear mission, purpose, and voice. Inspired by icons such as Peter Tosh, Gregory Isaacs, and Garnett Silk, just to name a few, Mystic Warrior began crafting his own unique style and message. Determined to maintain artistic freedom, Lyndon established Lee Benjamin Recordz Ltd., a platform for independent creativity. Now fully aligned with his spiritual calling, Mystic Warrior channels his journey into music that inspires, motivates, and uplifts.

In August 2024, he hosted the music video release launch party for his single Be Fine at the Pegasus Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica. The event, covered by TVJ Intense and the Observer and Star newspapers, showcased his versatility as he performed Be Fine along with three other tracks: True Love, Making Progress, and Come Down. Be Fine has gained local traction, with performances at events like Bunny Wailer’s Rock N Groove Launch Party, Boombox Freeflow Fridayz, Kingston Night Market, and the Ethiopian New Year celebration at Footprints, just to name a few. With a growing catalog available on all streaming platforms, Mystic Warrior is a force to be reckoned with—an artiste dedicated to creating timeless, positive music for the masses.
