Mums is an experienced, professional, mime and film actor in Upstate NY.
Comedic, dramatic, and custom written skits to fit any occasion, are what I specialize in. I also have many different costumes in different colors for different seasons and events!
By the way, Mums is also a nurse and an emt 🖤 🤍 🎭.

November 20, 2023Mum's The Mime was such a delight and an absolute breath of fresh air! I never really seen a mime before besides watching the ones on TV and movies so it was really captivating experience seeing one in person and just the greatest honor to have this performance happen at my first hosting event for the local arts! I had friends and family who were super excited to see a mime in person here in Syracuse and they weren't disappointed! 10//10 for me and really appreciated the Q&A section with Mum's and the backstory of miming that was provide to us! Hope to see Mum's The Mime in my next event!

October 25, 2023We sought out a Mime for our special event and Mike Sutton answered the call with his creative incarnation of "Mums The Mime". He worked with us and gave us exactly what we were looking for, actually exceding our expectations. The crowd loved his performances as he kept them engaged and enthralled with curious excitement and bursts of laughter and a good amount of "aha!" moments. Highly recommend!

October 20, 2023Mums the Mime is the consummate professional, was early to the event and ready to go before he was called onto the stage. His performance is engaging and fun and offers the audience a chance to enjoy their own imagination while being drawn into his world.
After his performance, we were able to talk with him (out of character and make up of course), and his warm personality coupled with his knowledge of the history of miming enhanced what we saw on stage even more!

Mums is a very funny and engaging mime and he performs skits that are appropriate for all ages. He can customize a skit for any occasion or type of festival.
You can expect Mums to go the extra mile, bring a lot of energy, and engage the crowd even between his skits. He never just performs in his time slot and then leaves!
As an experienced film actor and a professional mime, Mums knows how to value his audience and brings his best. While he was in nursing school he struggled badly financially. To survive and to be able to finish school and fulfill his dream of being a nurse, he started trash picking furniture to refurbish and sell, and became a film actor as well. After graduating and becoming a nurse in N. Y. State, he realized that he saw two dreams come true. The second one was that he had become a successful actor that had appeared with Vince Vaughn, Lili Taylor, Jesse Eisenburg, Michael Ironside and many others. Even though he was diagnosed with three learning disabilities, dyslexia, epilepsy etc. he has lived a fulfilling life. He credits God's grace for everything that he is blessed with and all accomplishments.
Marcel Marceau not only mastered the art of pantomime and brought it into mainstream entertainment, but he was a hero! Marcel ran an underground railroad into Nazi controlled Germany and helped many people escape the concentration camps and lead them to safety and freedom. That is a legacy worth preserving!
