Rachel is a professional violinist with over 20 years' experience performing for a wide array of events - including wedding ceremonies, receptions, proposals, anniversary/birthday parties, gala fundraisers, St. Patrick's Day festivities and so much more.
Choose from solo violin or violin & piano duet. Rachel works with a network of amazing pianists to provide a fuller sound for larger events. She can also collaborate with other musicians you hire to make a memorable event!

We used MSP VIrtuosi for our wedding ceremony at Irvine Park in St. Paul and it was incredible. The music was beautiful and added a really special element to our wedding. They learned both songs that we wanted for our processional and recessional to provide the perfect music. They were easy to work with and very responsive to our messages. I would 100% recommend.

Everything about this lovely duo was perfect for our day! They were communicative every step of the way, extremely accommodating and helpful, their performance was top-notch, and made our event exactly what we hoped it could be. They performed for our daughters wedding at the Semple Mansion in Minneapolis and did a fantastic job. They coordinated perfectly with the ceremony and personal needs of all in attendance. Bravo!!! Hired MSP Virtuosi to play for my wedding reception and I cannot believe how speechless they left me. I wish I had more time to thank them in person but we were so busy so I hope this review can show others just how amazing they were. Our wedding day was full of vendors who made mistakes on our wedding day, but not MSP. They were on time, play beautiful classic music during dinner, learned a custom song for my wife and I to dance our first dance to, and it was so perfect. They left without us even noticing when they finished I hadnt even noticed. They were in and out in a few hours and required almost no assistance from me when working with us which is exactly what I want when dealing with our wedding day. Could not reccommend live music more than MSP Virtuosi!!!!!

Rachel - Violinist Bio
Rachel began playing the violin at the age of 11, and under the instruction of her private violin teacher, Mary King Osterfield, she advanced quickly and at the age of 16 she was performing with the local adult semi-professional orchestra, the local youth symphony, and the MN All State Orchestra. She majored in Music Education at St. Olaf College and has continued to perform as a violinist with numerous orchestras, string quartets, and as a soloist for community concerts, weddings, receptions, funerals and even backyard parties!
If your event is at a larger venue, amplification may be considered so your guests can hear the performance! Amplification/microphones should be provided by the client/venue.
