Rachel is a professional violinist with over 20 years' experience performing for a wide array of events - including wedding ceremonies, receptions, proposals, anniversary/birthday parties, gala fundraisers, St. Patrick's Day festivities and so much more!
She can provide beautiful solo violin, violin/cello duet, violin/piano duet - or violin plus any instrument of your choosing! With a music degree under her belt, she can arrange music to fit any instrument combination you have in mind.

October 27, 2025We hired Rachel for our wedding to play violin during our ceremony and cocktail hour and she was absolutely one of my favorite parts of our wedding! She helped me surprise my husband with the song she was going to play while he and the wedding party walked down the aisle, beautifully played all of the songs I chose and did such an incredible job of playing pop songs / Bridgerton vibes during our cocktail hour - our guests LOVED it! You certainly will not regret hiring Rachel, she is so easy to work with, very responsive and reasonable prices!

October 10, 2025We were lucky enough to book Rachel for our wedding. She bent over backwards to learn the music for our ceremony, and was a consummate professional. Music was beautiful! I hope I'll never need it, but if I get married again, Rachel will be the violinist at that one also! If you are on the fence, do yourself a favor and book MSP Virtuosi! Rachel - Violinist Bio
Rachel began playing the violin at the age of 11, and under the instruction of her private violin teacher, Mary King Osterfield, she advanced quickly and at the age of 16 she was performing with the local adult semi-professional orchestra, the local youth symphony, and the MN All State Orchestra. She majored in Music Education at St. Olaf College and has continued to perform as a violinist with numerous orchestras, string quartets, and as a soloist for community concerts, weddings, receptions, funerals and even backyard parties!
If your event is at a larger venue, amplification may be considered so your guests can hear the performance! Amplification/microphones should be provided by the client/venue.
