Monique Steele

I always dress appropriately for whatever the occasion is. My delivery in music is always a higher expectation than what is expected. Audiences are always very pleased and impressed.

When Monique Steele sings listeners consistently sense God’s presence. Her remarkable range and vocal dexterity allow her to vividly express her love for Christ. She has shared the stage with Earnest Pugh, Marvin Sapp, Darryl Coley, BeBe Winans, Donnie McClurkin, George Duke, Joey Kibble of Take 6, Maurette Brown Clarke, John Stanley, Ben Tankard, and John Stoddart, just to name a few. Monique has also performed as a soloist in Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Jamaica, Canada, and across the United States in venues such as The Kennedy Center. She is an able choir director as well currently directing the Mass Choir at 19th Street Baptist Church located in Washington, DC. Most recently she was blessed to perform for President Barack Obama and his family. Born in Montreal and raised in Alberta, Canada, she was influenced by the music of both her Jamaican parents and the many styles of music available to her in Calgary. She holds a music degree in vocal performance from Columbia Union College and teaches voice at The Griffiths Vocal Studio, and helps run a music production company. She also tours together with her husband, David Griffiths, in The Praise & Worship Experience.

Dressing Room
A clean lockable dressing room is required with:
• One steam iron and ironing board
• Full-length mirror
• Private bathroom or must be easily accessible from the dressing room
• Facilities for hanging clothes

Refreshments
• Essentia Bottled water (6 small)
• Facilities for making tea in the dressing room

Food
• Fruit platter (small)
• Vegetable platter (small)

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
• 1 monitor
• 1 professional mic
• Sound system that plays CDs
• Keyboard

TRAVEL
• Mrs. Griffiths requires two rooms (joined together) at a 3.5-5 star hotel.
• Transportation to and from airport as well as to and from venue as needed.

MERCHANDISE
A suitable and prominent space is required with a table for the selling of merchandise (CDs, DVDs, Books etc).
Mrs. Griffiths is happy to sign CDs, DVDs, and books after the concert. She prefers to appear only after the concert.
