I perform on both electric and acoustic violin and pretty much shape-shift into whatever the event needs. Whether it’s soulful and intimate or high-energy and dancey, the goal is always the same: to elevate the atmosphere and give people that “wait… I’ve never heard a violin do that before” feeling. I improvise across genres, play off the energy of the room, and create a performance that feels exciting, modern, and memorable.

June 10, 2026My husband and I hired Mikaila to play the violin at our wedding ceremony in Central Park. It was a scorchingly hot day, and our wedding coordinator was a little disorganized, but Mikaila took it all in stride and was a consummate professional. We worked together on the set list and timing of the ceremony, and everything could not have worked out more perfectly. She even went overtime when our ceremony ran long. Not to mention that she played beautifully….10/10 no notes.
