Overview
With over 20 years experience playing guitar, singing and performing, I cover a wide spectrum of rock / pop music from the 80's/90's (U2, Journey, Stone Temple Pilots, Gin Blossoms, Counting Crows) to more contemporary (Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, Gotye) to classic rock (the Beatles, the Eagles, Don Henley, the Police). To make the evening more entertaining, I also take "cold call" requests which creates a much more fun party atmosphere.

Mike was perfect for our party. He matched his song selection to the mood of the guests, took a lot of "out there" song requests and nailed them, and was happy to collaborate and let a few of the party guests sing and play with him. He was on time, responsive in his communications, and very professional. We highly recommend booking Mike for future gigs, we certainly will!

Wow what a great addition Mike Galvan made to our annual outdoor fall party! He will definitely be a permanent invite for this annual event! Mike performed a wide range of music, played many requests and welcomed our guests to participate as well! An accomplished musician, with great disposition and lots of fun! I highly recommend Mike Galvan!

What to expect
As a solo act, my audience can expect to hear a talented guitarist / singer with many years of performance experience. My audience can expect a song list that is tailored to fit their preferences whether it's more contemporary rock/pop, 80's/90's rock/pop, classic rock, or a combination of the three. I keep the music constantly flowing and am able to gauge whether the music/entertainment needs to be the center of the event or whether it just needs to be in the background to allow for more party conversation. I take "cold call" requests that make any event / party a lot more fun!
Additional booking notes
As an acoustic guitar player / singer soloist, I take up very little space, and I have my own PA sound system.
