Overview
I have been a worship leader for the past 5 years and have played guitar for the past 20+ years. I have played a lot of different venue types but am still new to this site so please don’t let lack of reviews on here turn you away! I play country and other popular songs in an acoustic style! I am looking to do most any type of event, from wedding to funerals, and local and private gigs! Outside of my family, Music is my biggest passion. I would love to play for you and promise you will not be disappointed! Thank you!

We found Michael last minute for a very important event we had this week honoring John Lewis’ legacy.
His voice is beautiful with his guitar as his companion. Michael played the music we requested gracefully and without complaint having to stick around a little longer than planned. I can’t recommend him enough!!

What to expect
Any one who hires me can expect a professional quality performance with energy and passion. I have a Taylor guitar and all the necessary sound equiptment. While i do mostly play country and worship music, I can quickly learn any songs that you as a client would want played at your event.
About
I started playing guitar when I was ten years old. There was always music in my house growing up. Both my Dad and brother played guitar so naturally I was interested. My brother had a giant box of cassette tapes and I found Metallica's black album and I was hooked! My brother actually gave me my first Electric guitar and throughout middle and high school I was always playing. I set the guitar down for a few years and when I picked it back up this time it was an acoustic. I have always enjoyed listening to and playing country music. In 2020 I joined a church in atascocita was the assistant worship lead for 4 years. In October I got hired as the worship leader for New Day Church in Magnolia, Tx. I have a woodworking business at the moment and it has just drained the life out of me. The past 3 years i've had a steady decline of sales and revenue to the point where we are using my wifes paycheck to cover the cost that the business is creating. I have put of my desire to perform and do the thing I love for long enough,, so now I am actively pursuing my dream of being a full time professional musician! I will play at pretty much any event. From weddings and funerals, local and private gigs, festivals and city events! I do have all necessary equiptment to put on a great event and I practice non stop to ensure that you will be 100% happy with hiring me for your event!

I have the sound equiptment. I dont have any lighting equiptment so if that was wanted it would need to be provided. As far as electricity goes, I just need a spot to plug into.
