My name is Michael Kokkinakis and I’ve been playing and performing classical guitar for 15 years now. Graduated from Texas Woman’s University in Denton with a degree in guitar performance and now I take my classical knowledge and mix it in with a more modern, singer-songwriter, live looping, improvisational style.

born from the heart of chicago, illinois and raised in dallas, texas, i began my studies of guitar and its music at the age of 22. i enrolled in the guitar program at richland community college and discovered how innate the guitar came to me. since then i have been teaching and performing guitar for 15 years not only in the DFW metroplex but all across the world; Spain, Greece, Italy, Germany, France, Portugal, Vietnam, The Philippines, Bulgaria, England and Mexico.
guitar music is my life and my passion is serving it to your ears. it has been such a blessed journey in discovering this craft and it brings immense joy to fill the air with the sound of music.
i provide all my own amplification and lighting if necessary.
