MG & the Orbs

We provide up to three 45 minute sets of diversified music, unless another agreement is made with the venue owner or event planner. In addition, during our second set we often open the mic to other professional vocalist. In the future we plan on having musicians sit in with the permission of venue owner. With the use of a cordless mic, MG walks though the audience giving the performance a very personal feeling. We always show up early for a sound check, dress appropriately and most importantly we do not drink until after our performance is over. If the venue provides food, which is usually the case, we dine when we have completed the last set.

Maria Giorgio is a native New Yorker born into a very musical family and began singing and dancing as a child. She met Ms Shirley Fadim, an extraordinary Belle Canto Instructor, and began studying weekly for 10 years. Maria worked as a wedding singer, was signed with a management company, recorded an album and performed in many restaurants and musical venues in New York. Presently, MG & the Orbs is her current creation, using custom backing tracks and musical accompaniment of one to five Orbs (musicians) providing entertainment in upscale restaurants. Our repertoire is very diversified, unless a specific genre is requested by the client. We are responsible adults, show up early, dress according to venue specifications, and do not eat or drink until after our show is completed. This coming winter MG is planning a trip to Florida. Specifically, Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and Pompano Beach, where she is currently working on booking venues. Always smiling and accommodating, MG & the Orbs looks forward to a bright, abundant musical future. We're looking forward to hearing from event planners whether it's a private gathering or a large concert.

For private venues and/or parties, we ask for a space to set up where there is a decent amount of room to set up microphone(s) and the speaker system. Please consider electrical outlets in our immediate vicinity for a convenient setup and breakdown. All extension cords, speakers/pa, microphones & stands are supplied by the band.
