November 4, 2022Everybody enjoyed the music, and our special day was certainly made more unique and high quality by Max and his pianist.
4 stars only because the original agreement was for a 3-piece-- sax, piano, and stand up bass. The crew showed up without the stand up bass player and without warning. A heads up with good reason would have been acceptable, but showing up without the agreed-upon ensemble without warning is frankly just poor professionalism. But again, music was great and a mostly redeeming quality.

You can expect great, fun music ranging from the early 20's of the classic jazz age through unique and stylized versions of Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder songs. Tunes associated with the likes of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Billie Holiday, Gene Ammons, and Dexter Gordon are my specialty.
With 12 years of playing experience, I have performed a variety of jazz, blues, and funk music at numerous venues. I have been featured at a number of jazz concert series' and festivals, including headlining the jazz stage at the Pleasure Island Seafood, Blues and Jazz Festival. I'm ready to continually expand my musical audience and reach out to more people. I'm here to serve your event, establishment and well-being.
We will provide our own sound equipment but must be placed relatively near a power outlet.
